SAP Materials Management module consists of several sub-components & components. The most widely & prominent used are Purchasing, Master Data, & Inventory. All of the processes are executed by using transactions & all of these components have that are essential in specific business processes their subcomponents.
In SAP, Transaction means certain information in order to complete business process requirement of processing. For example, in SAP you can perform particular transaction code i.e. t-code that will reflect those changes, if you have purchased 10 pieces of litter buckets. SAP transactions to be accomplished & are spread over one, two or more modules most of the business processes involve multiple. Materials management can deal with campus planning & with logistics that deal with the tangible components of a supply chain or building design for the movement of materials. Specifically, this covers the acquisition of spare parts & replacements, quality control of purchasing & ordering such parts, & the standards involved in ordering, shipping, & warehousing the said parts.
